htc hd2 vs desire

hey guys, i got some questions relating hd2 and desire from htc:

is there a way to "crack" the hd2 (like getting apps for free ? from what i read there arent any free apps). same question goes for desire with androis os.. anyway to get tomtom for free and all the other apps?

any other pro/cons or opinions/recommendations about these phones?

Android is like the iPhone OS. It's growing so fast and there are tons of apps. HD2 is Windows Mobile 6.5 which is outdated as fuck, and it's crap.

Android is already overtaking the iPhone.

There are plenty of other Android phones that are just as good. I prefer the HTC Legend and the Motorola Milestone.

isnt desire jsut some app to check the whole store for free apps? i meant smth like cracked apps (apps which normally cost money but u can get them for free)
