CB EuroCup ET & CoD Invites Announced

ClanBase have announced the invites & qualifiers for the inaugural ClanBase EuroCup XV. A total of 16 clans will compete, with 8 teams being awarded invites whilst 16 other teams will fight for the remaining 8 qualifier spots. Where as the CoD2 EC has a massive 24 team Eurocup after an astonishing 800 teams signedup, the CoD qualifiers will be 2 rounds long.

I really don't know why CB (Adacore) decided on 16 teams, when you could have really stretched it to 20 teams, and some of the teams chosen do warrant questioning.

Bigger prizes overall.. Now 16 clans got the chance to win a mousepad or headset, while with 20 clans the chance would be even smaller! [/sarcasm]

we were in a break. zeto and lio were playing for vib in the previous EuroCup and snot, dNzl and ziff were playing for mmf in the previous OpenCup and I was inactive at that time. But the EuroCup before we did quite well, winning 3-1 over riZe, 4-0 vs und, 4-0 vs sin and only losing one match vs 0-4. But you will remember that afaik. We are playing together for one year now (included the breaks :P). But I understand why we didn't get a direct invite, we played bad at the ET Masters. But that was because we were just back with the line up.

That would also reduce nmb of drop outs in OC.

ESVKA, inteRaction, ESC Novamania and eSrael Gaming - where are they? Ok, you might say they are OC Premierleague BUT what are vae-nv and eZ then doing there? I have never ever seen one single match of them.

infrag was not even able to pass the group stage last oc prem! suxus have not played any good for a darn long time. i don't know venue but you should pretty much like own oc third division. dropping maps there and even losing to esvka? sorry, but this is ridiculous. talking about esvka, well they really aren't EC skilled, so why discussing about it.

The reason that you won vs o2 in warleagues is because of internal issues. They have beaten you before they met you in Warleagues, and I'm sure they would beat you if they faced you again.
