The Qualifiers of the ET 6on6 WorldCup are now online and going to be played next week, but the situation has a little bit changed.
We will have some new teams participating this season which alot of people haven't seen before. Teams who aren't from Europe are participating, next to the USA and Canada we will also have Australia, Japan, Brazil and Chile participating this season. Still, three of these teams will have to show that they're made of in the qualifier week to get one of the last spots in Poule D.

Brazil vs Kazakhstan
Chile vs Bosnia Hercegovina
Japan vs Bulgaria
Denmark vs Slovakia
Romania vs Ukraine
The matches will be played next week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Both teams will pick a map from the maplist 1 hour before the match starts. The matches from Brazil, Chile and Japan will be played on USA servers and we'll hopefully also be able to broadcast them. More info will be posted on Monday.
Unfortunetly, Ireland and South Korea will not be able to participate this season. We had a spot open in the qualifiers before, so that means three teams won't have to play a qualifier because they simply have no opponent. That makes Poule D look like:

Australia
Iceland
Malta
Because of these changed, we will host the WorldCup with 32 teams, placed in 8 groups. So each group consists of 4 teams, that gives each team after the qualifiers atleast 3 matches to play. The first placed 2 teams on the end of the group stage will advance to the playoffs. In the playoffs, each team will play atleast 2 matches - Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket. The site is entirely updated to the new situation and there are alot of lineups online already. We know all the captains already and from what I've heard all the nations almost have their team ready.
For the Nations, the final day to mail their lineups is Sunday. I'm going to leave my house this afternoon until Monday to take a short break so I'll be fresh during the Qualifier matches. I guess most of you don't really know the Qualifier teams yet, me neither, so I'll make a short article with some information about the teams on Monday afternoon.
» Two new/changed rules
- Nations are not allowed to pick more than 3 players from a team which played an official match in a Major league as ClanBase, Warleagues, ESL or a group based ET-Cup after 1 April 2007.
- Nations are allowed to add players to their roster during the cup whenever they want as long as the players are born/lifing in the same country.

And yeah, atm I don't really have a life. University starts only in September so you'll have to endure my billions of comments for a couple of more months.
