Being one of the few teams to be have been granted access to the closed ET:QW beta, Team HOT went into QuakeCon 2007 as the number one seed and the favorite to win. Europe's only team in attendance, Dignitas, thought differently, and snatched away the championship just inches infront of HOT's face by coming from the lower bracket and defeating them twice in the grand final. HOT's Kyle "dep" Tramtham sat down with Gameriot.com to discuss the team's road through the QuakeCon 2007 ET: QW tournament, their troubles verse Dignitas in the grand finals, and some interesting drama regarding the champions, 20ID, and Check-Six leading into the event.
The interview has been split into two parts with a third bonus clip.
Watch the full interview at Gameriot.com.
A video interview and response from Team Dignitas will be posted tomorrow.

"i really wanted to turn in all the money to be the Quakecon champion, you know, to put it on my gravestone or something".... omg nolife? :P
sorry about the footage, didn't have external microphone and was really dark outside
Please, you lost one match and it was the badone, like you said they were better this time, stop whining :<
I'm kinda waiting for dignitas' answer :D
I will try to acquaint myself more with the ET:QW scene to ask more in-depth q's next time
In response to the quote - Its a competition, theres a shit load of money to be won - Anything is game.
Maybe you shouldn't interview the loosing team directly after such a disappointment ;)
your last sentence is the most exciting of this newspost...
was interesting to hear. i thought it will become worser... ;)
Perhaps put the transcripts up and take out some of the repeating stuff. He says interesting things especially since he kinda trashtalks on the Euros and other US teams on the boycot thing.
Also add a teaser to each video part to lure ppl in. I didn't know what to expect in each video ;)
btw hot is a bunch of nice guys
but didnt watch it yet cuz im @ work
Maybe they should think about their attitude first..
I can't see any European clans openly offend/insult other teams. that's just not sportive to do.
I can understand 20ID's frustration though, but they need to act more professional..
As if a team is in any way obligated to scrim another team for the sake of fairness?
