International Poker organisation, MCPoker.de have joined Crossfire today to spice up the Crossfire Devotii Challenge 3 with a whopping 500 Euro prize purse for the onsite poker tournament! MCPoker will become Crossfires official poker partner and look to boost pokers influence within gaming as a whole.

It's like that in austria and I guess it's the samew within the EU.
At this time, the way we are doing it, there should be no problem. The FIOD could be asses if they want to, which they barely are for such a fun/small tournament, but even that should be np.
And if it comes to that, we will state that MCpoker just covers the winning player his travel expenses and stay during that weekend. Covering expenses is another loop hole.
I lose more than that on a bad night at party poker :D:D
As i see it Mcpoker gurantee 500€ therefore are not actually putting up the money them selves, say its 10€ entry and 50people sign up mcpoker wont be contributing anything but if theres less then 50 they will make the money up.
This is how i interpreted it but maybe wrong.

And maybe, if the buy in is 10$, MCPoker will take 1 or 2$ from it for the organisation. Don't really know how it will work out.
And ye, played a lot of tournaments, so I know how it works 8D. Are you also coming/playing?

bit late for you but thats the site if you are interested, aye points are crap as they are pointless. unfortunately your not on pokerstars and ccannot trade for gifts.
If more than 100 people would sign up the prize pool will then of course increase to the amount of signups - e.c. 240 registration would make it 480 Euro

Its not allowed to host poker tournaments with cash prizes in any country in the EU BUT its allowed to play tournaments in chips without money beeing traded. Which basically means we will run the tournament at CDC which will be a Freeroll tournament. This means no participant has to pay an entry fee to that tournament but McPoker will provide a prize pool of 500 Euro being payed online to the winners.
The winners will have to register on McPoker software to purchase their prizes and can play with real money.
After the CPC we will set up some special tournaments just for the crossfire community with a very small buyin so u can "outplay" your best friend not only on the battlefield but also on the poker table :)

Anywho, poker is overrated... only played it once in my life, at Rons place (CPC1). Wasn't that thrilling, eventhough I ended 3rd.
