The game which has already had a multiplayer beta on XBOX 360 is one of the winters hotly anticipated titles and is available to download now through Yahoo games. Weighing on at 1.4 gb you can download it here

Required (minimum) Specs
CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)

meh. got really dissapointed. but then again, it's just a sp-demo. mp is a whole different story so we'll see. but this demo was way worse then both the cod1 and cod2 demo. plastic bullets or what.. :<

Edit: Nice game, liked the demo slightly better than the COD2 one... Too bad that you can't change the resolution from 640x480, or can you? Going to try to pass it with pistol only later on. :)

Tthe Quake3 engine always gives a special feeling to games, it has this natural smoothness that can't be described :D

Wow, the installation process only took 15 minutes on my lovely 4 year old setup! :)

Even completing the demo probably won't take that long.

cod4 looks twice as good as quakewars and I can play it at high gfx details without performance probs :D

my quakewars instead looks like shit, I think even worse than ET and I have huge fps problems (60-80 with drops)

anyway, played it a couple of minutes now and i really like it, especially because it's still very similar to cod2
this game is, unlike quakewars, easy to learn if you've played it's predecessor
that's a good thing for me since i cba anymore to learn a whole new game :p
will buy it for sure, i've always enjoyed the call of duty serie

Hard to judge, first of all cause the MP is always quite different than the SP (compare in cod1/2), but it has some interesting elements that could make it right :)
