After recent lineup problems of
Team SPEED-LINK.etqw, especially at the their latest Lan, the Northcon, they added another player to their roster.With
Tore urtier Trimpop another former ET Player joined the ET:Quakewars Team of Speedlink.urtier won nearly everything, what a player could win in ET.
He won Quakecon 2006, SHG Open 2007, Crossfire Lan #1, Eurocup XIII and Eurocup XIV, ESL IPS #1 and many more other events and he was well known for his FieldOp skills in the ET Scene.
His first Match for SL could be the upcoming game versus
eGamespoint on Sunday, which is the Grand final of the ESL Cup Series. ( Matchlink )ESL Team Account

A search in the white pages spits out 105 Trimpop in Germany.
So I'd say it sounds kinda funny, but it's only the combination that makes it.
My last name can only be found 16 times and I know almost all of them :P

Polylan 2007 = 1800 Euros for the 1st place
Opencup = 4000 Euros

It's like Adacore who's like med and who's playing with a pro clan in an offi.
and i'm sure urtier will pick up the game quickly, it's not all about initial skill with a new game, but just as much potential
We all know that he can aim, but QW is not eT and is so different from eT.
But now he downloaded the game and played it for some days.
He hasn't got any experience nor is he in that skilllevel, but they still took him.
The only reason u see is cuz of the name he made himself in eT.
And well, it's possible that Adacore is good, but not 'high' good. He still has nothing to do in a 'high' fight, where he can't even see the enemy and where the enemy is breaking through every little gap he's giving them.
Problem being Adacore is not good at all (we're talking bout EC-level now).
we took urtier because we played with him before and a big part of the team knows him from ET over 2-3 years. he is no doubt a very talented player and he wont have a problem to pick up the game within a few weeks. there was no better choice than urtier.
we would not have chosen him if we wouldnt expect him to help to improve our playing
You said u know him from eT and u took him because u know/think/believe that he will be good in QW in the future ^^

he didnt play much before and he was impressive enough for our testgame.
