Fear Factory X-Fi just took the title of being this years GGT2008 Champions by defeating newcomers Authentic Gaming in the grand final at the Goleniow Game Theatre, Poland. Authentic were able to beat FF.X-Fi on Goldrush and FF came back on Supplydepot with beating Auth's set time. The final map to be played was Oasis and some peaple will remember the grand final of PGA when you hear that both teams decided to play a knife round to clear out this event's champ. The FF.X-Fi team around captain Wrobel and star player wiesiek are now proud owners of about 1.250 € cash and several hardware prizes. Attendees for this ET LAN event were eight teams which struggled through a tough qualification stage which was played online before the event. Teams like
Team EDiT, Diversus and 
Underscore were meant to be coming but were unfortunately not able to attend. Replacements for the three teams came in form of 
dECLINE and FwC which gives us the complete list of attendees. FF.X-Fi, Auth, savak, atoon, UCP, dECLINE, FwC and the Executors made their way to Goleniow to fight for the prize money of 3000 PLN. The teams found themselves in two groups of four teams each with the following roster:Group A:

dECLINEAfter having technical problems due to a storm in Goleniow right at the beginning of the event; two days of hot Enemy Territory action came to an end this evening. The top three standings look like this:

If you mean FF as in the team FF then it is only 1 thing, the team in whole which allows the use of win.

We wanted to play normal map but orsz (or another admin, don't remember now :p) said we agreed before (which is bullshit) and we don't have time to play normal map. Ofc before the knife round started we had 30minutes break (but there was no time!). Also when we wanted to switch pcs because some were better and some a bit worse orsz didn't allow us to do it :) I thought that the final should be played with the best available pcs etc. but I guess the main admin (btw shoutouts to mrk - he should be the main admin there not orsz cause he was the biggest help over there) had different idea :)

naga kept the level of the team and in playoffs he was one of the best players there, also I can't see any comments about wiesiek with his 25acc (except the one Matias wrote <3). He used to be known as the best polish player :) Just fuck off with any comments about people playing at lan cause you weren't there (at least 90% of xfire whiners) and you haven't seen shit.

Gratz, I won't say that you deserved it since it wasn't easy bash against savak or us (except the knife part :D) still you've won it :) But plz next time don't use the knife round on lan if opponent disagrees to play it. After all, its players that should decide not admins (we are teh stars egoego111). For me, no PGA/GGT knife round ever again (can't stab anyone :<). Next time rifle rounds ftw imo :D

Btw. if you were informed just before the decider about the knife round orsz is a bastard since the info he gave us was different. :)
the true is that we should have finished whole event till 18.00 (city major had been waiting to give his money since 17.30 and he had to go to his meeting on 19.00) - kinda suck. i know. but HE said: finish it now or im out. since 17.30 admins knew we will have to finish it with knife round if there is decider. we informed u just after you drawed 2:2
another case: we had to mount all pcs back to schools from 19.00 till we finish, get the whole area to be usefull again etc. so ok, lets w8 another hours and kill the people who made the event or just blame them after ur rest time (when they were still working)

we appreciate mrk`s work coz he made this lan better and easier for us. but u still should value other admins work, coz they were working much longer than 48 hours without sleep
and YES: naga did his job and played well
