I am proud to announce that we have reached the last stage of the Enemy Territory EuroCup XVIII. Two teams which have both proven themselves in the past have made it to this point and will now fight it out in one epic game, or at least so we hope. ButtonBashers will be facing off against team mamut.si on Saturday the 13th of December.
Yes people, this does mean they will be playing the final at the Crossfire Challenge in Enshede The Netherlands. Due to the particular good timing of the LAN event the ET organizing Crew Adacore and Anaconda have agreed to give us some time to play this match at this event. There will be ample coverage at the event itself and if we are lucky ClanBase will get some extra video coverage in as well.
I would like to thank Adacore and Anaconda as well as Tosspot from Crossfire.nu for this great opportunity.

EDIT* First!
Say what?
edit: oky :B
Personally I think they should have declined the invitation to play the final on LAN personally, don't see any reason for them to accept.
Oh yeah it's "equal" except the morons who play tennis with a clock on a stick and not tennis rackets will have an advantage.
So basically they are both sacrificing their best performance, when all they have to do is simply have one player say "Nah." and then they will have to play online instead. Would also be a lot more interesting to watch if played online.
also the fact that LCD's and a Quake engine game is just LOL in like... I can't even think of an analogy ridiculous enough to say how depressing it is
*And the (mammuth) would probably win online anyway, now with just more humiliation.(imho)
yet in all the FPS games I've played with him I've not noticed him aiming better or worse or any change in "awareness"
i could be wrong, maybe he does have hacks for every game and he's just fooling everyone from random crossfire users to me/perfo and everybody inbetween, but I think that is ridiculously improbable
and not going to LAN doesn't mean you cheat, could say most of your Swedish friends cheat using that logic
Yeah you could say that, but you could also say that it's quite a diffrence between +500€ and ~15€ for a two weeks busscard.
But all that is off-topic, my main point was that many probably think some guys in the team/teams is fishy.
Grab a curry, put my pc on my 42" on the wall! Lie in bed, have a shoutcast!
