Yo lads and boys, we are done with the seedings and can present to you the announcement for the direct invites and qualifiers for the second season of the ET Masters!
With 147 Teams signed up we are proud to bring you the best tournament we could think of, including the last 3 sign ups being at the waiting list for dropouts or teams not playing after losing their qualifier match. This opportunity goes for others as well, if you still want to sign up, go for it and send over your PM to sign up as written in this news post.
Every team not mentioned in the following list will participate in the second division.

The tournament to decide the last 4 teams for the first division will be starting this Sunday at 20.00 CET. Matches are forced so either contact an admin and reschedule your match to an earlier date or drop out of the qualifiers.

There is one part finished (Group A - H, Division 2 Part 1) and one part waiting on the qualifier matches (Group I - P, Division 2 Part 2). Team captains!
Every team needs it's captain! If your team is without a captain on this spreadsheet make sure you get one in by contacting chosen via IRC in #etmasters. Make sure your captain is in this channel.Rules and Maps
Official release of the rules will be tomorrow evening. Stay tuned until the release is done and make sure you read the schedule and seeding document properly.We will keep to the basic rules published in our tournament announcement. To decide the 6th map we will have a cup coming up this Sunday, starting at 18.30 CET to decide the final map for the ET Masters. If you have spare time, make sure you sign up!

ouh and considering that only 4 teams out of the 16 teams which got a qualifier get through (1 will be PIDAR anyway i guess)... most of the teams which claim to deserve a qualifier wouldn't have had a chance to get into the premier division ("EC") anyway.
i'm wondering if it was a good choice to publish the complete seeds though since this provokes even more whine =)

Tbh, I don't think ratings/seedings are that bad. You can't expect admins to know which team won pracs vs other teams you know.
I think the general flow of the seeding is quite ok. Ofcourse there are some teams which are seeded too low and some other teams that are seeded higher and would get beaten quite easily by few teams below them. But as I said, you can't expect a group of guys, who try their bests, to know exactly what team is better than which. Too few offi's are being played anyway between the 'med/+' skilled teams to find that out.

part I groups are full so all of the best clans which won't get to the div 1 will be put in part II of second division, 2 clans per group. why havent u made all groups from div 2 with 7 teams and after qualis you would put 1 team to each group??? the teams from 2nd division I part won't get any of those best teams in their groups.

so why couldn't you make all groups with 7 teams, and divide 1 quali looser to each of them???? wouldn't it be more fair?? this is bullshit man :) I'd rather like to have 1 team from quali and one "established", than 2 quali teams. this is just unfair.

some players are in x clans and it's hard to even roughly see who's actually playing
