ESL WL Final: H2k vs. masculin

It has been a long way with hundreds of matches, but we have finally arrived at the Grand Final of the ESL ET Winter League. With H2k-Gaming facing MASCULINE MANS the 1st Division of the 6on6 Winter League, Enemy Territory’s highest competition this winter, will come to an end. While H2k-Gaming comes into this match without any loss and six wins in a row, MASCULINE MANS successfully found its way through the loser bracket and is now looking for revenge after losing the winner bracket semi final against H2k-Gaming with 0-4.

H2k-Gaming has dominated the tournament like no other, seeing themselves in the great position to need only one best of three win. After beating cortana in the winnerbracket final they are now expecting the Grand Final with all the confidence one could have. One day after they got directly invited into EuroCup XIX everything is made for the last step onto the top of this competition.

On the other hand, MASCULINE MANS was never the team which seemed invincible. Placed second only at the group stage and falling down to loser bracket after losing against today’s opponent in the wb semi final, the Finns managed to prove the opposite and found a way back. It was a longer way through the loser bracket, but a very successful one. InfernaL, versatile and at last cortana lost against MASCULINE MANS and could not prevent them to win the loser bracket. As winner of the Consolation Final, MASCULINE MANS needs to win on Monday two best of three matches to end up first in this tournament.

Both teams managed to leave more than 110 teams behind them and there is only one match left to become the champion of the ESL ET Winter League 08. The match will start on Monday evening, 21 CET. It will be a very interesting match, we have been bootcamping the last 7 days and gotta say our tactics and teamplay are in pretty good level now. h2k are a strong team but we know their weak spots so we know where we are going to strike, tho a lot of depends if they'll field Matias, if hes playing unfortunately I cant see us winning, if hes not it should be easybash for us.

Update:

Masculine Mans was able to figth themselfes back into the game with a 4:2 victory after losing the first map Radar to H2k! We will now schedule the second Grandfinal and inform you as soon as possible!
