Infinity Ward have just released a brand new video showing Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer gameplay in CTF mode. Only last month, Infinity Ward unveiled Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer. This new video reveals further weapons and perks from the game, including the all new "Knife Throwing" perk.
The video also shows a new feature for console gamers that allows the host to quit the game, where the match is then paused and passed onto another player resuming to its exact state.
Modern Warfare 2 will be released worldwide on November 10th, 2009 on the PC, 360 and PS3.

Apart from the obvious inclusion of a new mode, which appears to be a Capture the Flag variant, there were a handful of small but important tidbits you may have missed. Here are five that I think are worth considering...
Bling?
One of the weapons the player walks over during the trailer is called the SCAR-H Bling. The SCAR-H refers to this bad boy, but the "bling" is a modifier for the weapon. What that modifier is, I have no idea. Later on in the trailer, the player walks over a gun with a modified clip, so either "bling" is simply modifier I'm not familiar with, or it's a dev term for something particularly awesome that they don't want to share yet. Could it be the rumored under-mounted shotgun?
New Kill Streak Unlocks
A couple new kill streak unlocks were revealed in this trailer. The more obvious (and awesome) one is the predator missile strike, which presumably lets you call down a missile from an attack UAV. Right before that, though, is a supply drop, which should please the turtlers out there.
Badges
Not sure about the official name for this, but I'm just gonna call them badges. It seems that every player has a customizable badge which shows up whenever they get killed or complete objectives. The badge includes a "name plate," which appears to be a set phrase written over some sort of background pattern. There's also an icon in the badge which can be customized. At one point in the trailer there's even an animated icon (a spinning coin), which presumably requires a much higher level than the standard ones. On top of the nameplate and the icon, you can see the player's name and current rank.
Worth noting that this badge system acts almost exactly like it did in "Street Fighter 4," which players could pick an icon and name plate to represent themselves online.
Riot Shield
Players can pick up and use riot shields in adversarial multiplayer. This was something that we had seen in co-op screenshots, but now it appears it'll find its way into all modes. I'd guess it'll limit you to your sidearm when equipped.
Throwing Knives
The throwing knife at the end of the trailer. Very cool, but how do you get one? Zooming in on the lower right of the screen we can see the knife icon next to the special grenade icon, which means they'll take the place of your frag grenades. Certainly a good option if you're a more stealthy type.

but yes they have added many new guns to the game hopefully many of them can be used in comp and are not OP like a lot of the guns were in cod4 (anyone remember p90 in the beginning of the game?)
