celsus picks up a cod4 team

Im sure most of you on this site know celsus through their enemy territory team who have qualified for the ec playoffs and EMS. Well today celsus are glad to introduce their new cod4 team :

- Netherlands Antwan "antwan" Kradolfer (Team Captain)
- Netherlands Maik "vexzur" Gloudemans
- NetherlandsJim "ownrr" de Ronde
- NetherlandsBjorn "Liquidpauper" Pacher
- NetherlandsThom "verZz" van Herwijnen


Team captainNetherlands Antwan "antwan" Kradolfer :

A few days ago I talked with celsus about joining and future goals. They were giving me signals that they were in terested in a CoD4 team. After a few days, celsus told us we could could get a deal going. Our goal is to see how MW2 is, and if it's not that good we will stick with MW. We hope to represent celsus in the best possible way

Pc director for celsus United Kingdom Ross "R0SS" Gracie had the following to say:

After only a few discussions with vmbo we knew as an organisation these guys were perfect to bring into celsus. With their vast achievements in cod4 both online and offline it was a team we had to snap up quickly. They slot in with the current Enemy Territory team and TF2 perfectly with a vast experience in the top level of gaming. We are very proud to unveil these guys as a team in celsus and we sure that they will go on to achieve some great things and represent celsus honourably. Hopefully now as an organisation we can build on the current top teams we have in these games and go on to support other teams and games.


This is a team with a core lineup that has achievements such as 1st and 2nd twice at offline events like fatlan. These guys will be competing in cc7 (if cod4 is definate) along with the current et team. They will also be competing in any upcoming online and offline events.

Antwan??? wtf how could Celsus let them join , he confessed couple of weeks ago he hacked (and the demo is VERYYYY obvious) , he should be banned in my opinion like anyone else, don't forgive him for the fact he did a "mea culpa" -_-


Isn't an orga supposed to check their teams nowadays ?

to be fair with the whole cheating allegations - i didnt know anything about it - dont rly follow the cod4 scene too much. I will raise the issue and see what happens - thanks for the positive posts - those who know me would realise i wouldnt take cheaters in deliberately

Sorry but Antwan confessed, got a VERY obvious demo, has been banned from all Esports Heaven (aka heaven media who own this site) events etc. How can you not know this when taking in a new team, surely you asked around first?

I said what I thought on Cadred concerning Antwan, and I'm sure you read that R0SS, but never the less good luck to the other four lads, Bjorn, Jim and Thom especially. They are all skilled and talented players, and it was a pleasure to play with them a while back.

ye i appreciate your views as its not the usual omg cheats retards etc etc. It was a genuine mistake - i guess mostly the blame is with me through not researching enough time into them. At the time it looked like a decent team we could build on and grow with. The release of our site in a few days/week has kind of led me to desperation as such to find a team thats suitable and arent asking for the usual ridiculous (we want lan sponsorship from NL to finland" before we have set up some of the sponsors and other ideas we have in mind. Im not up to date with the cod4 scene anymore and dont know too many ppl that are. If u wouldnt mind id like to have a chat with smth like urself regarding this issue and other things.
