CB NC XIII

First of all I want to welcome you all to a new Enemy Territory NationsCup!

Yes boys and girls, it's that time of year again. National Teams will be battling each other in what will hopefully be an epic Nationscup XIII !
The supervisors for this season are going to be the oldschool favourite Anaconda followed by the german powerhouse Rayzed. Our Coverage Supervisor ReWolf will be doing the written coverage! Killerboy will also lend a hand and make sure everything is working like a charm.
We would like to remind everyone that this season the NationsCup will be hosted in a 5on5 format and of course we hope that with the new layout many more countries will signup!
Like every season, we of course need some extra crew, be it as a Team Captain or a Referee / News writer. Here we explain the needed procedures to signup for the tasks above.

How to become captain?

The basic requirements for captains are:

• Decent organization. Every team should have one person who is responsible for CB, he will function as a contact person, and CB will call him Team Captain.
  
• Decent skill level. We understand the Vatican wants to compete with 20 top-notch players, but we doubt whether the Vatican has 20 players able to compete.
  Note: We will be using the same voting system as last system but we will explain it once again so it's very clear for everybody: Instead of doing this by email, we now have semi-automatic system in place. There are 3 stages in which this system works

Stage 1 - Captains apply

The persons who want to become captain will be able to apply. They can do this by using the menu block on the right hand side of the screen. You will have to explain here why signed up as a captain for your nation. Your nation is the same as chosen in your personal settings. Once you applied, you cannot apply again. You can, however signup as a captain for another cup.

All the players will be able to view the applications. This stage will run until December 31st.

Stage 2 - Players vote

It's a bit like a real life election, once all of the contenders are known, the voting starts. Once the voting stage has started nobody else will be allowed to apply. When you vote for you captain you will be asked why you voted him/her. Once you voted you cannot vote again or change your vote in this cup. Captains cannot vote for themselves.

All votes are kept anonymous, in the end the Cup Supervisors & the National Team Managers decide who the captain will be. This stage will run from January 1st until the 7th of January 2010.

Stage 3 - Vote ended

In this stage nobody will be able to vote or apply. The cup supervisors will announce all captains in a newsitem within a few days the voting is closed. The captains announcement will be on Sunday, 10th of January 2010.

Please don't be shy to sign up! Adminning one match helps, but more of course helps more, we're most of the time on the Cup admin channel to answer your question! Sometimes a fellow cup admin is even faster! Writers/Match Report Writers are a top priority aswell as coverage is was gives the Cup its prestige! Your help is needed to make this the best cup it can possibly be, so please try to get at least one member from your clan to sign up.

• Ability to write matchreports/upload screenshots (match reports are not demanded, but greatly appreciated by everyone involved!)
