CiC7 Top3 Predictions

Head of Team Rockit Fabian 'SPU9' H. recently sat down to ask 24 community members for their opinions on what teams will achieve top placings at the upcoming Crossfire Intel Challenge7 in Enschede.

The result of the gathered information is a top three ranking with Blight and rockit on top with exactly the same amount of votes followed by YoYoTech and 'To make odds even' making it a top four ranking actually. The outcome of the ranking itself does not come as a surprise eventhough some might ask for ESL Major Series finalists of nOu Way! who were, together with dNan and Phantoms, not given enough points. What might be more interesting for the readers of Crossfire are the given statements from some of the asked people.

Krosan? TosspoT? Havoc? Homer? Skydeh? Killerboy? I haven't seen them playing on the top level (even solid med+ tho). Some of them aren't even so called oldschoolers. So I definitely wouldn't say that they know more about ET scene than many of the ETTV viewers here or some (really) active ET players. The fact that they're a bit known @ ET scene doesn't make them omniscient.

polls are irrelevant id say, of course everyone who voted on this poll has based their opinion on the latest results between all the teams involved. being a favorite means nothing to be honest, ¡'m not a big fan of polls and stuff like that. but i vote from time to time just for fun and i bet many people did that too ;), anyways lets see how it goes, and lets hope it'll be entertaining to the watchers that's the most important.

YoYoTech will surprise. The four top teams according to the article will not disappoint, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of them got knocked off the podium by YYT or another fringe team like perception. Obviously blight/rockit are the two teams everybody will be watching, and rightfully so.

I dont understand why so many people put rockit as favorites. The last couple games I've seen them play they weren't good at all. Hopefully for them that will all be changed next week otherwise I don't see them ending top 8 even.

mja ok, geen top 8 is wellicht wat overdreven, maar dat gerambo moeten ze echt beter onder controle gaan krijgen. laat ik het zo zeggen, ze kunnen meer dan ze op dit moment hebben laten zien.
