Important update: The best/most original comment on this newspost (Team Dignitas) will win a Qpad mousepad!

It is time for the Team Dignitas Sunday Cup to venture into a new game. After hosting two Call of Duty cups we will now be hosting an Enemy Territory cup. It will be a 5vs5 invitational to take place on sunday October 3rd starting at 19:30 CET. We have invited 16 of the best teams in Europe who will be fighting it out to claim the Team Dignitas Invitational Cup champions title aswell as five Qpad mousepads as main prize.

All matches will be broadcasted on ETTV and casting will be arranged. If any additional streamers would like to be added to the stream list then they can contact dignitas\Sui for details. Teams are expected to be in #dignitas.cup at 19:15 CET.

I doubt these few pads are conditioned by 60-70 hits that will come from here, I bet those pads were in stock already, targeting a greater audience to get hits is fine, but getting them from here? not a particularly well thought out business strategy if you ask me..

and it's not like they're doing it for the first time, every time some news gets posted here they lead to their site, not how it should be done imo; if you're posting it here as news then post it all and state the source, otherwise don't post as news, post in forum and give a link or something

might be only me but I have an aversion to such sites that attract users with prizes since I never fucking received my qpad that I won from eyeon-esports years ago

It works simply like that: Gain visits for your site, make it attractive for the people so they stay and the better your "page stats"are, the chance to get decent sponsors is higher. And so it goes on and on and on and on.

bremen is a retarded map in 5on5 indeed but it's in both leagues for at least a year...

delivery is also an older map which was in cups for at least a year(not @cb anymore, just ESL)

and karsiah is the so called retarded map CB added... well, not perfect but certainly better than frostbite

and @olbaa - this is an online tournament and I'm betting that at least half of these teams won't even play the next LAN

Not to mention not inviting squad (4th ec, 3rd evu cup) based on the reason - ex cheaters... as I stated, there's 5 teams there filled with ex cheaters who can be considered more obvious than squad in every aspect.... at the very least it's just plain stupid.

And you have to learn to see maps from another point of view. Personally, after having played around 4 months of CoD4, I'm pretty annoyed there's only the "5 big" competitive maps. There's NOTHING else that's seriously played. One thing I loved about ET was always the variety of maps available, and there's pretty awesome maps out there that are way underrated. On reactor_final, I've watched some of the most exciting matches of all time...

seriously, stfu now ur doing my head in. Squad are 100% worth being there but the way you are going about participating in a 1 day cup (a decent 1 with prizes thx dignitas) is completely wrong. You are actually listing teams that squad arent better than, i.e. rage and aero - ok maybe they beat rage but come the end of the season i guarantee rage and aero will be above squad. At least do it in an appropriate and professional way instead of raging at cup admins and participating teams.

All matters are resolved, I have explained to squad.ee that choices had to be made and that this in no way indicates that we think less of them than a top16 team. see you on sunday! :)

no such thing as "drop them", we never invited them in the first place. We didnt invite them because we knew they were immature and we would like some sportmanship in this cup. Their reaction to not being invited made it quite clear that our choice was the correct one. Nobody ever said they arent good enough for this cup either.
