ESL IEM V: American Championship Finals!

image: 146_bigThe first regional champions of the ESL Intel Extreme Masters Season 5 are about to be determined as the Americans have arrived at Comic Con 2010 in United States of America New York City. The games for the weekend are Counter-Strike 1.6, StarCraft II and QuakeLive. The QuakeLive tournament seems particularly intersting as we see the reigning American Champion United States of America EG.DaHang, the reigning World Champion United States of America SK-rapha, the Painkiller legend Netherlands coL.Vo0 and United States of America czm, a mastermind from the past.

When are the times for us european's to watch?
CEST = Central European Summer Time. So that is supposed to be what we have.
Parent
eiM you know btw if there will be german cast or english cast for those games?
Parent
everything in english afaik
Parent
" Our professional and famous casters such as Sean "day[9]" Plott and Joe Miller will bring this event to you in a fun and thirlling manner."

And if you check ESL TV homepage you will find for each program "language: EN"
Parent
CEST .... Central European Summer Time

seriously, i also dont know all those different timezones but it takes less than a minute to find out the answer to your question on google...
lazyboy
Parent
But why google if instead you can post it on a community board with such loving and caring members that are more than glad to help you out at any time given no matter how desperate your situation. And while he posts, and waits for one of said members to share his wisdom with him he can furiously spam refresh the page awaiting the one answer that'll be changing his life possibly set him free from all the hatred gathered around the internet. Now, dear Sir. If you seek the answer to a lifelong question of yours will you think twice before consulting google?
Parent
indeed i'm lazyboy and don't listen to Oxy he is raging his wisdom all over Crossfire:P!
Parent
It's already in EU time in NY they start at 10 AM which is -6 hours.

no one cares about css
Parent
vo0o0o0ooo0
The funny thing is that czm, chance and DaHang are all playing for EG...
They gonna win that event, no matter which player takes it.
Would be the same as letting Ferrari send 18 drivers in the Formula 1...
Ehm, I don't think the 3 EG players are the favorites.
Parent
Rapha and DaHang are the favorites imo.
Which is at least one EG player.
Still there is no other organisation with more than one player in the tournament except EG.
My intention was to point out that a rule about how many players a single organisation can send into a tournament could help keeping up the competition (I mean the comp. between the organisations, not the players)
Parent
dkt and vo0?
Parent
hmmn.
The last matches I've seen (few weeks/months ago) they weren't that promissing.
Parent
Vo0 just beat dahang 2:0 in the online qualifier
Parent
rapha and only rapha is the favorite player.
it is very very unlikely anyone else is gonna even have a chance against him
Parent
And here I was thinking that vo0 was only able to be aggressive and reckless... wp
Great games, too bad had to watch them on vod, when is the next life cast?
Vods? It started 90 minutes ago, only two games have been played so far.

http://www.quake-live.tv/live.php -> They are probably going to show rapha's first match now.
Parent
Thanks, I love you man!!!
Parent
why is a dutchie playing the american finals?
I believe he's studying in Dallas and consequently living there.
Parent
Also his girlfriend.
Parent
check esr galleries, don't remember which one. :)
Parent
because he's been living in the states for the last two years or so
Parent
hahah chance hahah
THIS GAME FUCKING SUCKS
Vo0 is right though :(
Parent
Nerdrage imo! Next time he should prepare and win the event!
Parent
it was his girlfriend who wrote that :)
Parent
