Two days ago we announced four tournaments on Esports Heaven, with a total of €6,000 in cash prizes for Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2 and Quake Live. I am talking, of course, about the Full Tilt Poker Challenge.
This is our biggest set of tournaments ever to take place on Esports Heaven since we launched the site in July 2009, and two of the tournaments are also the two biggest cash tournaments in their own right. Feedback from all Heaven Media websites has been amazing, and from external gaming sites all over Europe, but a number of comments here on Crossfire did make us think long and hard...
The question of Enemy Territory events on Esports Heaven was debated, as well as whether the fact that it's such a key game to the Crossfire community should have an impact on what tournaments Esports Heaven runs.
Ultimately they are separate brands, and for the most part we actually leave game decisions up to the Esports Heaven staff, which is one of the reasons we haven't pushed for games such as Enemy Territory and Counter-Strike 1.6 to be picked up based solely on our other websites. (Incidentally, both games have featured on Esports Heaven a couple of times, in fact the second tournament we ever announced was the ET SteelSeries Cup with some tasty prizes involved from our hardware-creating friends.)
All that aside, however, we weren't too happy with even a few of you feeling that you're taken for granted, and after speaking to the guys at Full Tilt Poker, they completely agreed.
Therefore, I am very happy to announce that a fifth tournament will become a part of the Full Tilt Poker Challenge, with a €500 cash prize involved. This tournament is, of course, for Enemy Territory.
As with the other tournaments, full details including dates will be announced in the near future, so for now, I'll leave you with this message. Esports Heaven is run, for the most part, by a fantastic team of volunteers, and for this to work, they could really do with some help from a couple of ET fanatics, so if you think you've got what it takes to lend a hand, please do send an email about yourself to steven[at]heavenmedia.com!
p.s. Don't forget that if you love poker half as much as Enemy Territory, Full Tilt Poker is the place to be ;)

I guess this is enough to make me decide between Full Tilt and Pokerstars (raked 100k$+ lifetime)
ps is much better in any way.d
PS has more fish thought, and better tournaments, and a good stellar reward but still..
FTP > PS.
ps. I have given FTP $100 as a rake this month already = me sponsoring the cup
ps2. it's a really wise move from fulltiltpoker, that 500e can earn a lot of money to them. they should make more tournaments like this in the future!
tripple team cu :D
Also, R0SS, I eat my words.
THANKS
