Quakecon 2011 Announced

Just like every year, 2011 will see a new edition of Quakecon. Lasting from August 4th to August 7th, the Hilton Anatole in Dallas will pay host to fans of games by id software and Bethesda.

Even though no tournaments have been announced so far, it seems likely that Quake Live will receive attention at Quakecon once more. Since RAGE is going to hit stores just one month after Quakecon, its appearance there is also very likely. And even Brink, the other major title in development by Bethesda, will be in stores by August.

Oh great maybe they will screw us again with some q2 tourney instead of ET/RTCW - Why they dont have some kind of triple threat tourney - ET/RTCW/QW or even just ET/RTCW is beyond me. The perfect time would have been last year. Now certainly brink will be there since its more comp oriented than RAGE.

have seen that game some time back and i thought: sweet, another bethesda en-dof-the-world-themed game that looks like having borderlands influences.
