This Sunday, March 27th, find out who are the invited teams and players of the EuroCup XXIII Season LIVE on ClanBase Radio.

Traditionally, the teams that are invited to take part of this season's EuroCups will be announced LIVE and exclusively on ClanBase Radio!

Your hosts for the night will be once again ClanBase Radio's very own Netherlands DJ Neur0 and United Kingdom DJ Apoc. Apart from the announcements, the show will also feature interviews with people from the gaming scene and the Managing Director of ClanBase Denmark MadUSA.

true, however it's a bad thing not to see too many new teams (that could do well in groupstage) just because they had to play against some top 5 team in qualifiers ;S

16 is more boring than 24 only if there are 24 decent teams and we don't have them. Anything more than 16 is just a one-sided boring to watch eurocup-rape game.

maybe not 24 but lets say 20, imo 1 more team in groups won't do such a difference for the tournament. top clans will have 1 more 'rape' game & the weaker teams (these four extra) will have the opportunity to play with the best clans and maybe they can surprise us with some nice games

It's a matter what do you want to achieve. Every case has got 2 sides- on the one hand there's a situation you're talking about. More teams has got a chance to play vs the best clans, they can improve faster etc etc. On the another, less clans in such tournament means a bigger prestige and that's what's about @ Eurocup, you can't join the crew easily and the fact that you played EC means something :)

yea true + OC premier will be stronger.
like you said, there are two solutions and everything depends on admins.

you have to give opportunity to not so skilled teams every season, maybe add 2 teams every EC, im sure those small teams will improve, nobody expects them to win the lan events, but they will be underdogs.

well thats just my opinion
