I am very pleased to announce that there is upcomming 10th anniversary edition of SGH Gamefestival Tournament on the turn of April and may. The Event is organized by Gamefestival Group which is going take place in Poland

"Szkola Glowna Handlowa" main building near Niepodleglosci avenue in Warsaw which is due to take place Saturday 30.04 - Sunday 01.05 with possibility to extend until 02.05.11 in we gather more teams than expected. There would be nothing special in this information if there wasn't be a chance to organize a BYOC 5on5 Enemy Territory LAN but there's one condition - at least 8 teams have to show interest of participating in the event until Wednesday 13.04.11.

Entry for the LAN is 390 zloty (~100euro) per team. Teams should make payment until Sunday 24.04.11. Many of you are wondering about the prize pool well indeed it's very attractive about 7000 - 8000 zloty ( ~1700 - 1800 euros ) ! Hold on now, it's not over this prize pool can be even bigger ( in case of low interest of CoD4 tournament ~ 3250 euros ). According to the information we got this is Bring Your Own Computer tournament so you have to travel to Warsaw with your own hardware.

Basic Information:

Date of the event: Saturday 30.04 - Sunday 01.05 (with possibility to extendt until 02.05.11)
Entry Fee: 100 euros ( 5 players - less than 20 euros each)
Prize Pool: ~1700 - 1800 euros ( can be up to ~3250 euros)
Location: Warsaw School of Economics main building.
Type of tournament: Bring Your Own Computer(you will be able to rent monitor)
Format type: 5on5
Deadline of sign up: Friday 22nd April
Deadline of payment: Sunday April 24th

How to sign up ? It's easy, you just have to go step by step with instruction attached to CoD4 application then mark that you are interested in participating in Enemy Territory 5on5 tournament.
With gathering new information about this LAN event you can expect current news updates. Furthermore any information you can find on official website of this event.

ET wasnt planned on this event. Head admins decided to find players to some other tournament because of lack of interested teams in CoD4. We did everything as fast as we could to announce it.

there r 2 teams that are already signed up. Warsaw is huge city and i think we will easly get 30 more players untill Wendesday :)

Really nice to see some LANs at least considering ET at their event, just a shame it's wayyyy to short notice. I'd suggest next time making a forum post (PM me or another admin if you need it stickied for a while) to get evidence of interest. This means you can show the interest to admins when you approach them.

it shouldnt be a big problem from guys from germany,austria, hungary, czech or latvia/estonia to get there.

my laptop will play ET nicely enough and is pretty small but I don't know if I would want to take it all that way. They aint cheap :p

7 + 2 not completed. Admins said that theres 99% chance for ET tournament but we still dont know if we have full or just half CoD4 prize pool

The complete prize pool could make this tourney really big and important for ET as in case of an €3.500 pot even teams like Dignitas, Power, Rockit or NEVO could probably go there spontaniously.
