• Teams must have at least one person contactable via the tournament IRC channel (#SAGE.LAN).
  
• It is the team captain's responsibility to ensure all players are aware of the cup's rules.
  
• Players and captains are expected to show a high level of professionalism when taking part in any this online seedings cup.
  
• Teams are expected to have all players readied-up on the server at the scheduled match time, a maximum of 10 minutes will be granted in some circumstances.
  
• Failure to adhere to any tournament rules may result in removal of a player and/or team from the tournament in progress and possibly the LAN event as a whole.

• These matches are not best of three. Only 2 maps will be played for each match.
  
• A win means you will gain 3 points, a draw will gain you 1 point and losing will, of course, result in no points for that match.
  
• Should 2 or more teams be tied on points, the number of map rounds won will determine who is placed higher in the group.
  
• If 2 or more teams are drawn on points and map rounds, these teams will be placed in as an identical seeding.

• Teams are held responsible for providing their own match servers.
  
• It is the responsibility of players and/or teams to check their opponent's lineup and SLAC IDs to ensure they are valid.
  
• Once a player and/or team becomes ready to play on the server (ie. "readies up"), they accept the server settings and their opponent's team.
  
• Each team will have 2 timeouts (pauses) available. Each timeout (pause) is 120 seconds.
  
• Servers should be SLAC enabled.

• Teams are allowed to request the demo of their opponent within 10 minutes of the match finishing.
  
• If your demo has been requested, you are expected to upload the demo within 15 minutes from when the request was made.
  
• Demo reviews will not hold back a cup schedule. Do not pressure the admin to review the demos instantly.
  
• It is forbidden to abuse, flame or hassle any player or admin in this tournament. You will be given one warning if you break this rule, after that you will be removed from the tournament.

• All players must record demos.
  
• Players are expected to take end-of-game screenshots.
  
• Admins reserve the right to ask for any match media at any time, without reason.

• Players and teams are expected to adhere to the tournament schedule to the best of their ability. In the spirit of sportsmanship, we ask players and teams to be ready to play before the scheduled time to ensure no delays are incurred.
  
• If your match has been requested to be featured on a broadcasting site, do not decline or object to this.
  
• If an opponent loses connection and does not have any timeouts available and you have yours free, please use it for them.
  
• Be gracious and courteous to all players, admins and broadcasters at all times.

• It is the responsibility of all players to advise admins of their roster (including SLAC IDs) via PM or here on Crossfire.
  
• Teams must use at least 4 of their intended LAN lineup for this seeding tournament.
  
• Spectators are not permitted to be on the server.
  
• Tournament administrators are allowed to enter the match server at any time during a game and reserve the right to oversee the match.
  
• Broadcasting services are allowed to enter the match server at any time during a game and reserve the right to broadcast the match with previous consent via the tournament admins.
