Battle for Berlin - Signups!

Time to sign up, soldier!

I'm glad to announce that signups to the Crossfire: Battle for Berlin are now open. We had a fantastic response in the initial newspost both from teams, fans and people wanting to getting involved (coverage people, I'll be in touch soon!) and now its time to suit up and sign up for the tournament.

The schedule for matches that was announced in the initial newspost will stay, we will be very strict with the scheduling system as we intend to build coverage around that schedule. If you cannot make the dates below then this isn't the cup for you! We will only allow rescheduling for exceptional circumstances.

To signup please send your team name and team roster to CrossfireSignups at gmail dot com. Team Rosters will be limited to 8 players to prevent bogus rosters and teams will only be allowed to make 1 change to that roster from the moment they signup to the moment the tournament concludes.

November 15th Grand Final

I realise the rules regarding rosters & schedules are more strict than ET has been used to in recent years but the coverage we hope to get out of this tournament will only be worth if teams are going to take this event as seriously as we are.

with regards to one of the rules, the player change during the tournament - are you allowed to take someone from another teams roster? or only players not signed up for a team - IE players who were in a team that is now out will not be available to be recruited by other teams.

Hopefully its players that were not signed up for other teams.

what if you cannot play on thursdays due to other activities such as soccer-practise but you can always play on wednesdays, is that a possibility?

I realise that this is a tough ask but without the discipline this will just be like any other cup which finishes whenever teams can be bothered. If matches are on set days then we can arrange coverage in advance and one of the main points of this cup is to prove that coverage is whats key to driving relevance of competition and maintaining an enthusiastic community.

this is so shit , first how one player know if he can play one 15 days before the final or for other wars . im sure more teams are going to lose by forfeit , and the shit about "be allowed to make 1 change to that roster" this is same prob about forfeit games .

u cant know what will happen in the future, u can get some stuffs at that day u wouldnt know today, yet they would took u time to play that war at the day of offical u would have.

well if one player cant make it its np, even with a 2nd one, and with the possibility of signing up 1 additional player, there have to be 3 guys missing, so basically ur half team, if that happens, thats definetly not ur cup ;)

Dude the dates are set so go to your agenda and see if you can play on those days then mark them as busy. If someone tries to arrange something with you for those days after just say you have plans.
