Loser Bracket Round 5!
Tonight we have the 5th round of the Loser Bracket in the Battle For Berlin. The action will be coming at you thick and fast in the next 2 days as tomorrow we will have the Winner Bracket Final followed by the Loser Bracket Final - both games being covered here on Crossfire.nu and being shoutcast live by TosspoT.
On to tonight: Queens vs. k1ck starts at the slightly later time of 22.00 CET. The winner of tonight's game will advance to the Loser Bracket Final and be guaranteed a top 3 finish.

Tonight we will see a contrast in styles: Queens are a lineup consisting of 5-star individuals with a common goal. TosspoT perhaps summed it up best when he stated that "Queens are taking it in turns to multikill their opponents." That is not to say, ofcourse, that there is zero organisation or teamplay, but rather that the strength lays with the individuals having more flexibility in their roles and being able to play comfortably. This can also be their undoing as they frequently rely on moments of individual brilliance, which are not always forthcoming against solid and organised opponents. With that said, tonight will be a real test for a k1ck side who convincingly beat MouseControl 4:0. Such was MouseControl's fall from grace, that they came within half a second of defeating tournament favourites Anexis and taking a spot in the WB final, and now they find themselves out of the competition. They undoubtedly underestimated the Estonian's - a mistake that Queens must be sure to avoid themselves. k1ck had very effective spam in their last game against MouseControl, as mant and monkey reigned in the explosives to halt the Allies' pushes.
In my opinion, this really is Queens game to lose, so make sure you tune in tonight to find out whether they do!
Players to watch:
kot from Queens - As the competition gets to the later stages cast your eyes to one of the most experienced players in high level Enemy Territory, and arguably the best Polish player ever. He has shown flashes of the form that saw him snapped up by the dominant Dignitas line-up of yesteryear and I predict that tonight will be his breakout game in BFB.
subbi from k1ck - He has been their most consistent player in their last few games and has shown himself to be an excellent all-round medic. In stark contrast to their opponents tonight, the Estonian's success is built around their strong teamplay and in such a team, subbi's role is vital.
Tonight's games, and for the remainder of the tournament, each team will pick a map with the decider being selected via traditional elimination rules - with the winner of the coin-toss choosing which team eliminates first. To repeat - there are no forced maps any-more.
The winners of tonight's game will head to the Loser Bracket Final tomorrow.
