StarCraft II[/u]
The SC2 tournament at DreamHack Winter 2011 is down to the final 4. There have been plenty of shocks as the enigmatic IdrA took an early exit, losing out in the group stages to EG team-mates HuK and PuMa. French Zerg Stephano also dropped out in the groups as he was upset by Sheth and ClouD.

CounterStrike 1.6[/u]
The CounterStrike 1.6 tournament is also down to it's final 4 competitors. The two tournament favourites Na'Vi and SK-Gaming met in the quarter-finals and the Ukranian's edged out a victory in a truly astonishing game. Na'Vi never led the game in the first 46 rounds but finally took the lead in the 47th round and they took the map and the series in the 48th round. It's been said already that this was one of the best games in the history of Counter-Strike. Elsewhere, mousesports beat ESC Gaming 2:0 to set up a semi-final with fnatic.

Heroes Of Newerth[/u]
fnatic.MSI won the Heroes of Newerth tournament at DreamHack Winter 2011, defeating the Australian team Fray in the Grand Finals. n0tail had another excellent game on Pollywog Priest and the combination of his play and a 600+ GPM Magebane was far too much for the Aussie's. The Australian's had previously beaten the trash-talking Swindmelonzz and his team, Trademark eSports. The other semi-final saw fnatic.MSI victorious over Lions swe.
Despite some great games towards the end of the tournament, the show was stolen by the match-up between / Team EZ & Reason. This game has already been dubbed "The best game in HoN history" and is definitely one to check-out once the VoDs are up!
Quake Live[/u]
The third and final day of the Quake Live tournament at DreamHack Winter 2011 is well under-way. In the RO8, Cypher beat the Swedish sensation toxiq to set up a semi-final with k1llsen who had knocked out the international superstar Cooller. Perennial finalist rapha defeated strenx, and will now meet av3k who beat spart1e.
The semi-finals are:

DOTA2[/u]
DreamHack made the decision to go with DOTA2 over the ever-popular League of Legends as the representative of the MOBA genre, as they felt it would appeal more to the European audience and their decision has given us some of the best games seen already. Wild Honey Badgers beat SK-Gaming in the first semi-final to set up a Grand Final match-up against a fnatic team who beat the French side French Order 2:0.
The Grand Final is:
