Lost soldiers to find the true destination of the victory?

Today is the day that most of you have been waiting for. Today ladies and gentlemen, you will bear witness to the end of this cup - the cup that has brought together one hundred teams despite plenty of retirements in each division.

Tonight, on the 11th of December, lost Soldiers will meet True Destination in a fight for first place and the winner will be the crowned Fall 2011 OpenCup Premier Champion. It has been a long journey for both teams since their first match this OpenCup.

In the red corner, we have lost Soldiers, a team that have had plenty of drama and line-ups problems.They had to say goodbye to their rifle valaR and welcome his replacement, Artifexx. Their teamplay didn’t seem to be affected by this change and they've managed to win every single game but one, losing only against iNmotion.

In the blue corner, we have True Destination, a Dutch team that can count on their old school EC players Xperia and Lun4t1C to lead them to victory. They come from the Loser Bracket, where they beat Team Splendid easily in the Loser Bracket Final. As the Loser Bracket team, they will have to win twice to take the Gold. What can we say about their run to this final? They won every single game during the group stage, losing only by forfeit. And the bracket games went really well apart from their first clash against lost Soldiers.

Bets are still open until the game starts, but so far the odds are in the German’s favour. For the French viewers, Benjii will be shoutcasting live.

To be honest here I haven’t seen the teams play, but seen them both being around for a while now, should be a solid final with two proper TEAMS playing, I expect True Destination to take it down 4-2, having such a players as Lun41C & xPERIa will surely help them to do it even to they have to win twice i still think they are going to take it, on the other hand u never know if Lost Soldiers will surprise, after all they are having some solid players like the crossfire very own Mr. brain aka eujen

I think it will be a closed game between a motivated team full of "new comers" on this finale stage, against these experienced players. I predict 4/2 for True Destination for the 1st game, and 4/2 for Lost Soldiers to reach the Pocal. You should spec Lost Soldiers for the teamplay action, and these dutchies for the aim part.

True destination have been playing together in the past & they have great players like xperia & lunatic so i'm kinda surprised they got beaten by Lost in their first encounter. However I saw lost playing last wednesday & they played pretty well vs a strong opponent. But my guess will be that TD will win both games with 4-0 & 4-2.

Although I have friends in True Destination and I know they used to play quite well together, they are inactive now and I am not sure if they will have what it takes to take down a team like Lost Soldiers, who I have met in various cups in the past and know them to be strong especially when it comes to team play. I expect Lost Soldiers to take it 4:2, but a good game all round with some crucial moments. A must for avid spectators.
