Enemy Territory Player of the Year 2011

It's easy to see why, considering he won all but one of the major competitions he entered this year and was a huge part of the team that did so. It's rare to see someone so on-top of their game be so level headed, and the young Welshman remains one of the nicest guys in the community today. The ever improving kReSti took a deserved second place and possibly the most fanboyed ET player ever mAus came in third.



Sqzz statement
I just want to say thanks to all the people who voted for me this year! I am abit dissapointed cause i thought i was gonna walk it this year was a close call, hoping to do better next year. Id like to say a big thank you to the crossfire admins, without them et still wouldnt be going so well done fellas!

Well I never saw that one coming :D, I thought I will end in one of the last spots, since there is night and xylos.. and other really great players, when I see I became 2nd I am really glad people saw my performance :), I would like to thank everybody that voted for me.

Enemy Territory Team of the Year 2011

With Dignitas joining the winners in a merger during the summer, it became a two-horse race for this award. Anexis won the years major LAN event, SAGE, but failed to repeat their successes online, having an awful EC XXIII and losing the BFB final via forfeit. Under the leadership of razz and miNd, Queens were the most successful mix team of 2011 (and perhaps ever?), winning first place in all online competitions. Unfortunately, their lack of offline competition might well have been the deciding factor in why the community saw Anexis as Team of the Year.



Anexis-R0SS statement
Winning Team of the Year was something that i wanted to repeat from last year and was the one award that i/we wanted to win. I felt that this year we did truly deserve it. winning every competition that we entered or should i say finished :P. Im not surprised Queens came a close second, throughout the year they had a strong lineup especially with sqzz playing for them, someone who i am sure is going to win player of the year. In truth im glad that Queens came a close second as razz put a lot of time and effort into making a strong lineup, even if it included Anexis players. When the 2 teams met though, we (Anexis) did prevail in both the Excello Cup and Jeesports 1st Tournament. Unfortunately due to complications, we were unable to play in the BFB final which im sure would have been a great spectacle. Dignitas had a relatively poor year but still pushed us at lan and in truth G2P were underachievers as i felt that the core of that lineup would have played us in the SAGE Final and with the Anexis and part Dignitas lineups merging, predicted they would push us all the way in the final of BFB. Thanks again to those who voted for us, we hope that some tournaments are announced soon so we can come back/continue from where we left off.

Enemy Territory Match of the Year 2011

It is perhaps a tad unfair on the epic match between MouseControl and Anexis during BFB that it only took a mere 17.2% of the vote, but such is the magnitude of LAN finals.



Anexis-R0SS statement
Well it is great to win Match of the Year, especially with it being the match where Anexis won SAGE. Being the first lan that myself, Jay and Gav won it was a great feeling especially winning against a team like Dignitas, who in truth weren't at their best, but were good enough to push us all the way to a deciding map. There were several key moments in that game like my panzer killing Squall and Night who was repairing the controls, with mAus following up with a huge nade and smg kills on another engineer with sqzz and xylos clutching too which made it exciting. It was great having such a team chemistry that we were able to win but also enjoy the other side of the lan which you dont usually see as "top players/teams". Congrats to Dignitas for making it such a thrilling game, but i must say that I felt that the mcon vs anexis game was better as it was the one time in the year where we looked beat and somehow managed to win radar with under 1 second and win a close deciding map. Thanks to those who voted!

Enemy Territory Breakthrough Player of the Year 2011

Following a long career with AoW he has successfully made the jump to high-skill Enemy Territory and joined up with the G2P side who finished 2011 looking so strong. Following up in second place was another superb aimer, phyzic. He spent the majority of 2011 mixing with Queens and was a huge part of their successes this year.



kReSti statement
I was really shocked when I saw I was 2nd Enemy Territory Player of the Year 2011 and Enemy Territory Breakthrough Player of the Year 2011 :D I didn't think I would come in the top3. I am really happy people saw my performance over 2011, I improved a lot, that's for sure, but to be honest I never saw this outcome coming from the votes. Thank you to everyone who voted for me.

miNd statement
I'm happy that I won from Jere, but to be honest here, I dont even think I should've been in this poll in the first place :D Guess I've improved a little due to playing a lot this years, but I dont think there is much difference to a 2010. Kresti has become a really solid player this year and surely deserves this award.

Enemy Territory Team Crumble of the Year 2011

They boasted an all-star line-up including the temperamental sNoOp, the unpredictable meez, LAN veteran & 'Best LAN Player' toxic and LAN virgin razz. They lost to Lazio. sNoOp went home. They win Enemy Territory Team Crumble of the Year 2011.

Enemy Territory Movie of the Year 2011

Despite the movie being released over a year ago and many more movies being released since then, it was one of the highest rated on Crossfire in recent years and the appreciation continues as it scoops this award.
