The success of our recently concluded CyberGamer Premier and Amateur Prize Leagues managed to keep our Australian ET community alive in what seemed a hopeful and last ditch effort to revive our competitive scene with $750 split in prize money to the winners of the competitions.
The prize leagues, run and organised by player and admin
biggz, saved aus.et from a total shift into the dark and scary world of etpub.The Australian ET scene has now decided to take a page from the Europeans in order to spark activity in our once again dwindling community and even bring back those we thought were long gone!
This refreshing concept of a draft tournament has allowed our mod divided communities to come together and participate in a fun and friendly, but competitive format, introducing the etpub scene to the light that is etpro.
We were a little sceptical at first with thought that we could only manage around 4 active teams. However, within a week sign-ups had topped at around 60 Australian and New Zealand players (as well as our favourite canadian
bN) of all experiences and skill, and allowed us to create 8 even teams for an exciting 6v6 cup!Our nominated captains were comprised of our most active players, and from the NC Australian Team:

- dongo
- meadow
- hammerkrook
- chiver
- biggz
- volta
- chevron
New friendships were made and hearts were broken, but after a heavy 30 minutes of intense decision making on ventrilo we had finally emerged with 8 beautifully crafted teams.
The first week of competition is already under way with all games to be broadcasted on gamestv with additional shoutcasting from
biggz, and our oldschool Gamestah shoutcaster 
Chrisis, who's voice features in the Modus Operandi ET Movie - VINDICATION. So be sure to tune in!
