Cracow Gamespot ET Lan

It's been a while since last lan in Poland took place, so we came with idea of refreshing polish ET scene a bit with the new event. Last time tMoe with old lineup took 1st place at EGU 2010 in 5on5 format. I hope that with hosting this event we will motivate some players to create new teams, I was missing few polish teams recently...
Finally we're ready to annouce you Cracow Gamespot ET Lan in 6on6 format.

When I was writing about this lan in #crossfire irc channel some ET players didn't want to belive me that this lan will happen - but it will and it's sure. I already talked with few more or less known polish players and they said they will come for sure. But still if you aren't from Poland and want to play on our event - that's no problem, lan is open for all european teams.

Basic informations you will need:

Date: 28-29 July
Location: Kraków, Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny, ul. Podchorazych 2
Slots: Aiming for ~10 teams
Entry Fee: 300 PLN ~75 euro (per team)

Signups:

You will be able to signup at end of may or beginig of June.
If you are intrested in Lan, drop me a msg on CF and I will add you to the intrested teams list

PC Specs:

At the moment we have 27 PCs which will handle ET

Prizes:

1500 PLN ~350 EURO
1000 PLN ~240 EURO
500 PLN ~120 EURO

Important Notes:

Money on prizes may increase a bit, we are still negotiating with few companies about that.
Entry fee MAYBE will include place to sleep, we're still negotiating about that

as you can see we can't afford eu lans because it's too far from poland and it costs a lot so we prefer .pl lans. maybe show us that you can play on another lans than enschede ones and come to our country

signup fee is aimed at .pl teams and is probably so low to attract them (just 50 pln per guy that's something even a pole can afford)

I think you would find that I would go regardless of the prizepot. My statement was in reference to the Anexis team. It would cost us around 1000 euros to go and to keep support from the org they would want something back on their investment (doesnt always have to be financial).

I just checked plane tickets to PL and it's less than 100e (with 1 luggage) to Lodz airport though, not Krakow, then I think you can just take a train to Krakow.. :D

it just depends on the airport.. there are like 10 to go to in PL, check another one. besides 150 isn't that expensive for a damn plane journey :D you can spend more on clothes during shopping

In Israel there is a tradition which we go to Poland to witness the holocaust's sites,been in whole Poland when I was at school.
Cold and boring,allot of gypsies around but it's kinda cheap overall.
