Adroits ET Masters - Payment Countdown

After the Adroits ET Masters venue and deadline post was made, there has been a lot of interest from a number of teams. Currently there is just 1 more day until the initial payment deadline of 30th April. Currently we have 7 fully paid teams with a host more hoping to get payments done soon. There is a chance at a 16 team tournament too which would be fantastic.

Entry fee: €350 (+ €30 if using PayPal to cover costs) per team
Prize purse: €3,000 (for 16 teams)
Slots: 16
TUP / BYOC: This is a turn-up-and-play event. You don't need to bring your PC.

When you sign up, we will email you back with payment details.

Refunds only given in the case of the event being cancelled.

You can also vote for the next online tournament to be hosted by Adroits on their Facebook page, even if ET doesnt win this time the more votes the better to make our presence felt.

What are the chances that this is the last LAN for ET?

I wanted to come but obviously it is very expensive for me to go out there and I am not that much of a nerd to pay that much money just to play a video game for two days... would like to spend a month or maybe more there and in neighbouring countries, but I simply cannot afford to do that at the moment.

Dunno, it could be the last I guess.

My team is unsure of going

However I want to go 110%, so will it mean anything If I send you my money (63 euros, which is including the paypal cost, so 380/6= 63.3), and if my team decides to go they can pay the remainder 316 euros, since my entrance would have already been paid..
if that makes any sense!

Sean doesn't want to risk it, 10 is the minimun for this point. You can signup later too, but amount of confirmed teams has to be 10 for now.

Ok, ok. :( Considering the ET tournaments in past, I'm still pretty sure there will be 14-16 teams, if the deadline would be about 2 weeks before the tournament.

The CF lan events the deadline was not as close to LAN as this iirc.

Sadly, it would seem, a number of teams are holding off on actually paying entry fee to wait and see how many teams would actually pay, its a bit of a catch 22 :) if all actually paid... would have at least 12 and potentially 14-16.
