News
Its been a long time coming, however Crossfire 3 is here and here to stay! The third installment of the Crossfire community has been expertly coded by the wonderful and tireless 
taLa to whom we all owe a great deal of thanks!
The past months have been a great effort to make this site a reality and we hope it will house the now ever larger Crossfire community once more! There is an upcoming change log and more formal launch later on Tuesday however notable features include:
- Movie Section - Add your own movies, rate other peoples movies and comment
- Clan Section - Create a page for your Clan and add all your information
- Tutorials - Tell the world how to make a movie or build a config
- GamesTV Feed - The Power of RSS brings GamesTV.org to Crossfire
And of course, much more that you'll find along the way!
In the mean time however, if you do find any bugs we'd highly appriciate you posting them in The Bug Forum Thread, if you dont tell us, we wont know!
Important: all user names that have non-standard characters in them, have been converted so that all of these characters have become an underscore. Allowed characters are: a-z, 0-9, A-Z, ., *, !, -, [ and ]. If your user name contains any characters that aren't listed here, you must log in by replacing those with an underscore. For example:
my~nick will become my_nick.
If your account still doesn't work after having done this, please contact us at #crossfire.

nice new functions (especially moviesection, gvt-feed, clans)
very few things i dont like (pm-function missing in the buddylist e.g.)
but at all its better than i´ve been expecting. i really wanna say thx to the developers, especially taLa & TosspoT - great job, i hope u will never get bored of this community, thx thx thx

I kinda expected something more revolutionary while still maintaining the xfire idea. The frontpage kinda looks too much like other gaming sites.
The list of pages has to be fixed. It's useless, noone cares how many pages there are. 99% only views the last page anyway. Make it possible to view older pages (a good search option would be the best anyway) so people who care can look back.
All the navigation on the right side... Well people look webpages in a F or E view so the right side is overlooked for every first visitor.
I also expected a CSS design, not tables. Not that anyone cares but CSS only designs just look better in sources codes + google likes it better.
So:
Change back to xfire colours - black is a no no. Most important thing.
Good xfire was maintained, kinda stayed to normal doesn't warrant the waiting time but better than some huge change without the xfire idea.
The theme isn't based around black so dont understand why you say black is a no no?
The new design has been implemented very well so not to alienate current CF users and still remains entirely recognisable.

Now, if we click on the Movies section, we can see the movie articles like: "Crossfire Quakecon Trailer (1314 views, 30 comments)"
this could be better for example like this:
"Crossfire Quakecon Trailer (1314 views, 30 comments, rate: 8.71)"
