CB ET NationsCup XVI: First Matchweek

The first matchweek of the ClanBase ET NationsCup XVI started last Monday and will come to an end on Monday 4th. All unscheduled matches have been forced to the last proposal or to the deadline.


This week's games will be played on adlernest and bremen_b3. Let's take a look at a few of the matches, as well as a close-up look at the "Match of the Week"!



Each matchweek, we plan to highlight a game or two for the benefit of the viewers. Our first "Match of the Week" this season features two teams from Group C: Hungary, led by sebi, and Norway, led by Zodiac. The showdown will be happening on Sunday 3rd at 21:30 CET.

I'm interested in seeing these two in action, considering this is the first match for both it's hard to predict who will win. Norway will all be familiar with each other, including how they play in NC officials whereas a couple of the Hungarian players will be experiencing NC for the first time. HUN being lead by the ex-underscore players will favour the new guy(s), NOR probably haven't put enough time into practicing yet to assume they'll bring a 4-0 rape to the match!

This is going to be a tight and close game I guess. Having in minds fact that they've got Finland in this group, it's probably the game that promote a winner to playoffs from 2nd place. Although this might not be a clash between two top teams, skill wise they look quite similar and definitely we will be able to see some great stuff. Also seeing some nice individuals in their lineups makes me wanna watch this game. Who's gonna take it? I bet my money for Norway, with 4-2.
