In autumn 2003 was the great birth of the now so popular World War II shooter Call of Duty. Nearly 2 years later, at the 3rd November 2005, the second long-awaited and quite more successful part of the Activision series Call of Duty 2 was released. Today, again two years later, the fans wait at least just as eagerly as before on the fourth part 'Modern Warfare', which is not longer based on historical backgrounds. Instead of this it is playing in a fictitious future.
This year on 8th November, the waiting will finally have an ending.
Also the guarantor of FiNEST5 decided to get into the act of Call of Duty 4 with an own team.
Here is an overview of the players:
LAN & ONLINE ROSTER OF FiNEST5
FiNEST5 Jens "souX" Grothe. (Bouncer4you)
FiNEST5 Tobias "atroX" Treder. (HighBot)
FiNEST5 Daniel "humM3L" M. (GAMEPOINT)
FiNEST5 Lukas "Gro_Obblin" Grobbel. (Clan of ZABO)
FiNEST5 Raphael "Kucki" Balzer. (Living Legends)
FiNEST5 Tim "nk3" Wenzel. (Geh ab Clan)
This team consists of players that could not be more different, because in their past they collected some completely different e-Sports experiences. Jens "souX" Grothe & Daniel "humM3L" M. started in the year 2002/03 with the Ego Shooter Wolfenstein. Tobias "atroX" Treder started a bit later with Wolfenstein in 2004.The players Lukas "gRo_Obblin" Grobbel & Raphael "Kucki" Balzer playing since Call of Duty 1, they bring alot of experience to the team.Nevertheless the six found together and spent a lot of time in the last months to find together, to strengthen their teamplay for one aim - to be armed for the upcoming challenge called Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The team looking forward to some scandinavia lans and the Crossfire Devoti Challenge 4 in the beginn of 2008. The team was build because all players living closed to each other, and plans to bootcamp in early 2008 before the Crossfire Lan. Everyone knows each other from formerly played games and real life.
So you can be curious to see whether the "old-schoolers" need to put on warm clothes or whether our ladies will have to lern their lesson and have a rocky path to go. Last but not least we have an interview with the team captain of the Call of Duty squad on our new website.
