About the soft and the toy

image: ipsAfter some great matches done on sunday and monday, its going to the final and last playday in the ESL IPS First Stage. Afterwards we are going into a final league where we will find our winner!

After the drop out by Czech Republic nAkAshi, a new team recently joined with the name Europe pingwins. With their first match tonight, the way is open for this team to prove themself.
The German team Germany Stofftiere Online already lost in a close match versus Italy n1ce.it and has to win this tonight if they want to get a chance to be in the IPS final stage. I was able to catch Germany noorgrin for a small statement and prediction on tonights match:
QuoteDue to the fact that we lost 2-4 vs n1ce.it last week, we have to win today if we want to keep the chance for the 2nd IPS stage alive. Pingwins managed to reach the last Clanbase Eurocup quarterfinals (as Team-Maybe), so we are aware it will be a hard match. We hope to win Frostbite like we did vs n1ce.it and maybe we are a little luckier in the decider map this time :-) 4-2 to SFTO hopefully :-)

Check out the rankings and the details for the upcoming match.

CoD Lineup Changes afoot!

Pre Eurocup transfer activities are well under way within the Call of Duty world, coming from all sides of the continent! Firstly, the newly renamed Victum have picked up a familar face, and also the return of jUNK52 with some international flavour! In other news 4th Placed at CPC, H2k have brought another RTCW player to join Joepoe, after Knaller had left the side.

This weekends Eurocup 13 has galvanised many into believing that the hedgemony is there to be dethrowned. An action pack weekend that saw Check6 surprisingly take gold, has given hope to where there was once none! And as the fall season is prepared, expect one or two more announcements to come, can the top dogs allow Check6 to get away with this weekends success?

Crossfight Crevasse Showgame

image: xfindent3cf This morning I logged onto xfire, and casually noted the findings of our latest poll. A few minutes later, my xchat buzzed and it was taLa, wanting to discuss some of finer details of our upcoming Crossfight competition. And then it hit me, why not combine the two?

For those of you who do not yet know, adlernest creator Dersaidin has just released his latest map, crevasse_b1, which many people believe to hold great potential. With a EuroCup approaching the maps have yet to be finalised, and how better to showcase a new map than to put it through the gruelling test of a broadcasted match environment. So after receiving many applications from teams wishing to play, we drew the names out of a hat, and we have our draw. Before I announce the teams, I would like to offer my thanks to all who applied: Fear Factory, cdap oddjob, cdap pi, elite, mvk, mustanaamiot, spawnraped, rev2, ec4 necromantia and vib.

So then, Wednesday's matchup:

ec4 necromatia United Kingdom 2-4 United Kingdom cdap oddjob
Wednesday 27th 21.00 CET
ETTV

Lineups

ec4 necromantia - hat / Viax / hentai / Meez / nev
cdap oddjob - kye / Ste / Baggiez / ngotie / Marvel

Update: In the last few minutes Netherlands stewie of Radio iTG has confirmed he will be casting this game alongside myself. Poland HeadShot Radio have also just signed up. Let us have a brief re-cap of the game:

[*] 5v5 format
[*] bo3 maps, crevasse_b1, crevasse_b1, frostbite
[*] Winner books guaranteed slot in Crossfight (xf3)

OutRaged.et first started out about a year ago with a guy named Norway Snuble. He left ET so the other players took over, we pracced and got given the chance to represent Germany Oceans6 about 4 months later and got an EC Qualifier. But several of our members had some probs and stopped with ET. Then 2 months back we remade OutRaged, added some new players that's how the team got born
with this line-up:

Netherlands Nick 'NxM' Stam [Manager]

United Kingdom Mathew 'mat' Wilson
United Kingdom Farai 'fazz' Savage
Germany Alexander 'brot' Otten
Sweden Sebastian 'Nils' Hogberg
Sweden Simon 'kiitos' Hogberg
Sweden Mikael 'tornis' Torndahl
Norway Vegard 'Lakaii' Eidissen

Team Statement:
We are proud and extremely happy with dtekt taking us in as one of there squads, we hope to serve to the best of our abiltys and better. We also want to thank our sponsors and the dtekt management.

Management Statement:
We are really pleased to announce our new ET team and we are sure they can fill in our needs. We wish them the best of luck in all the leagues and cups they'll participate.

Yet another day!

image: ipsThe russian team of Russia Violence is Bad is going to face oceans6's new squad. With a long and stable history, ViB is the favorite to win this match tonight. But o6 will have the chance to prove that the imposible is possible. No special luck and tactics will come up on the glory maps SW Goldrush TE and Radar.

Not less interesting, this will be the match of Poland FearFactory and Belgium cZar Gaming. While cZar is able to make it in the next stage, FF have to try their best to win this and the upcoming match against rY to make it to the final league. Again, the maps SW Goldrush and Radar will decide it for the teams.

[img|left]http://www.webstylestudio.de/xfire/icons/esl.jpg[/img]As official Match of The Night the ESL brings you some hot German action with the final match of the German Summer Cup, formerly known as German IPS Qualifier: The teams of Helix and Highbot. Both are still very new teams and are very ambitious to capture the flag as best German team.
At 23 CET, you will see the replay of this match on GIGA 2 with noone else than your very own FlyingDJ.

sublime Gaming

A new enemy territory team has been created who go by the name of sublime.

Lineup:

United Kingdom brap (manager)
United Kingdom visore (remedium, MyLegend)
Poland ufol (Team Poland, Fear Factory)
Sweden savage (kojak, gosu)
Netherlands ins (helix, quAn)
United Kingdom hYpe (quAn, splashdamage)
France StrAf (angeldust, pistols)

So brap, how far do you think this team can go?
<sub-BRAPJI> Well the team is made up of a talented bunch of players who importantly know each other already and get on well. If we can continue to gel and improve our teamplay and experience together i expect us to challenge the established teams.

By looking at the lineup, i see alot of experienced players, do you think this will prevent you from being another "2 week" clan?
<sub-BRAPJI> Definetly, but more importantly is the fact that everyone seems raring to play as often as possible. Also since lots of the members already know each other it helps with both teamplay and stability, which is important for the long run.

Well, GL!
<sub-BRAPJI> thx :)

IPS action incoming!

image: ipsYet another Sunday with some hot action is flying on your monitor with the finest ETTV action!
As topmatch of this sunday night the participants of the CPC will face each other in this online competition again. While one team was able to stay together, Estonia idle.ee had some lineup changes since the LAN event was over. Belgium sFx.LAN get the chance to prove their quality and ambition tonight without bugs on SW Goldrush TE and Radar.
The second top match in group A will be Croatia elite facing Europe HighBot who presented their new homepage yesterday night when they overpowered Italy n1ce.it on GIGA with a mess of strong attacks and a hard defense. Both teams lost in their first match and have to get the win if they want to participate in the final stage.
As third match on ETTV the polish power of Poland diversus is on the way to face the German team of Germany roYality on SW Goldrush and Braundorf B4.
It's quite bad all matches will come up at 21 CET and therfore, the forth match joining our seats 30 mins later won't get a spot on ETTV which doesn't makes it less interesting.
With Europe aMenti playing against the Czech qualified team of Czech Republic infrag, we are going to decide if one team get a secure slot in the playoffs or if the Czech team is going to make the impossible happend with a win.
