Anyone who would vote for McCain/Palin...with the prospect of Palin becoming President is, with no other way to put it...out of their fucking mind.
Too old-fashioned / narrow-minded. He wants to continue Irak's war and I'm nearly sure he would say yes for another war in another embarassing country (North Korea? Serbia?). Anyway, he also used (several times) racist terms and I don't really like his tacts of advertising himself (I'm not saying Obama's one is great, but still I think Obama's one is "better" than McCain's one).

I thought she came across well and better than I expected, but when she didn't know what to say she totally changed the topic back to something else, that wasn't related to the question.
I don't think there's anything wrong with 'admitting' you don't something. Though, doing it explicitly would damage your chances since there's a strange contradiction in American politics; they want a down to earth friendly president who isn't too smart, but admitting specifically why you're not smart kills the campaign. Complete contradiction. Finding the balance is hard, and that's why there's two of them. Palin represents the goals and ideas of some voters (religion, guns, women), and McCain the other (white, business, industry, money).
The Times did a pretty decent article in the magazine yesterday - "Friend or Foe: Sarah Palin has the White House in her sights, and she hasn't taken any prisoners on the way. Christine Toomey talks exclusively to the Alaskans who know the real woman behind the 'hockey mom' veneer." - complete with gun-toting image!
It pains me to see a Brit talk like this :( that’s the point, her knowledge appears so limited it’s excruciating. She didn’t fall back on something she’s knowledgeable on, she spouted some rhetoric, told some irrelevant story, recited a talking point. Great Sarah, you can remember the talking point – now tell me what that means, what you’d do, why you’d do that, what you think the impact would be socially, economically, globally – anything, please, Sarah, anything.
Nobody expects her to know everything. Just wish she knew something… or at least articulated that she does.

-Loads of "other" people would vote for him only because of a few sentences and reputations they heard, and because it's always easier to defend a left-wing candidate "lol I'm not selfish look I'm with a democrat" than a right-wing one, although the right-wing has most of the time the most "realistic" considerations.
I didnt study both candidates ( not their programs, which mean absolutely nothing, mind, the candidates themselves ) so I can't be sure it works for them, but there is probably some truth in this...

The thought of Palin becoming president scares me. Not only I think she is stupid, as in really stupid, after seeing her videos, and listening to what is she saying, but also her religious background is batshit crazy, her husband as a member or political party which wanted Alaska independence and more so called dirt that appeared in 1 month. And all that from a simple hockey mom? Yeah right. Loekino as ruler of the internet would make as much sense.
The "dirt" on Obama compared to that is ridicilous. Just saying he's paling arround with terrorists is priceless. Muslim, terrorist, not citizen, osama....and people belive that... If that's the biggest things that McCain campaign can come up with, then Obama has to be a normal guy.
If McCain would be running with different VP I still would be for Osama, however I wouldn't be much concerned if he'd won.
Also of course I think Obama would be a great president, his orator skills are like mAus aiming, he seems very inteligent and capable of beeing quite good president.
