SLAC, but hate the fact that it 'scares' cheaters so they turn their cheats off. If they weren't scared, would see way more people busted in the competitive scene.

But now only retards cheat with SLAC

and where's the negative aspect about cheaters being too scared to cheat? I mean officials are played with slac anyways. and i prefer ppl not cheating (due to 'being scared') than ppl cheating and getting busted (which is unlikely anyways with pb). isn't that exactly what a good anticheat should accomplish?!

I get what your saying but if theres a player that is 'clean' but used a hacked, you wouldn't know if they hack or not because they are too scared too play with it along with SLAC.
I would like for those type of players to be caught rather than let off with nobody knowing.

True, before the lag spikes it did a good job. PB busted many people in the past.
I think it's to early to say that SLAC is better then PB.

Slac still has a lack of proof. In theory chaplja can bust a player without proof, because he is not posting the proofs. That's what I don't like about SLAC, just like the trojan in it.

well for me it's like. If someone is clearly cheating then u can spot him anyway. If u can't spot the cheat, then I don't really care if he cheats :P
And I rather play with No PB config than with the lag it provides.
So by far SLAC is surely better for me :)

SLAC is the only serious anticheat we have. Pb is outdated laggy and only catches some public cheats.

PB started lagging (or atleast I started paying attention to it) sometime around 2006-2007 and SLAC also gives me lag-spikes so I really dont like playing with either but having played versus such teams as PGC, bv, etc with SLAC on I do feel more confident about them being clean whereas playing with PB was more like a joke since most of the busts on above medskill were made via customer lists
