Ping

Lately the clan I'm part of got a server, and my ping was nice - around 50.

But suddenly it has changed, and the ping is now 100. :-(

I've scanned my computer for vira, spyware etc. but it doesn't help.

Any suggestions what could be wrong?

Plz stfu you stupid Russian, just keep out of my topic, if you have nothing usefull to say.

I haven't changed anything mate.. But I've went on some ETpub-servers by mistake, can that change anything?

I don't like playing with 100 in ping, when I can play with 50, it's pretty simple ;-)

it could just me routing. some servers in rtcw I use to play on I would get 50 one day and 150 the next (mainly german ones).

try pinging the server IP and see if its the same- then youll know its not ingame problem.

Have a look at the number which the console returns you.

go to start > all programs > accessories > command promt

and type

ping 112233445566:27960

with that ip being your teams server. ;)

Aah, now I understand. But as far as I know, I can't use ":" in an IP in command prompt?

ISP = Internet Service Provider

If he got some network probs u cant do anything

Ah yeah ok mate.

I went on the server yesterday, and suddenly the ping was ok again. :s
