ET lags

Hello m8s. I have serious problem. I have awful lag, FPS lag. I have FPS 76, when it lags, FPS is 26 for like 0,00001 seconds. That makes awful lag effect. You know? Something is wrong in my PC.

I have AMD Ahtlon 64 x2 4400+ processor, nVidia GeForce 8500GT graph. card and 2gb memory. Wtf is wrong in my pc? I have tried to play without any programs running, no effect. Ive tried to cool my pc as low temperature I can, no effect. Im desperate. I cant play scrims and other matches.


Can plz someone halp me?

And I dont have always this lag. But everyday. Sometimes I actually can play.

try to defragment your HDD, helps in many cases

while playing et, open taskmanager and check what progs use a lot CPU/Memory..

If nothing has worked so far, including closing down xfire. Go to www.nvidia.com , download the latest drivers from the download section, if you have the latest drivers try rolling back to previous versions.

Also make sure your config is configured correctly, make sure ET has a good maxpackets and snaps.

Yes, turn off ingame chat in xfire options if it´s activated.

Spybot S&D, I ran this program twice today. It found same problems each scans. -_-'

Other programs?

Defraggin and virus scan next night. ^^

You can imagine what it feels. You have awful desire just go and pwn their asses, you got nothing else to do. Connect to server --> Sound lags, graphix lag. This lag makes me headache really.

I'll try to put X-Fire off, but I doubt it.

It´s a known issue that ingame chat of Xfire causes fps drops.

Hmm, at least today no lags at all. X-Fire not in use atm ^^
I think it did the trick. :)
