In the case of ET, nVIDIA's are better. But if you wanna play high graphics games, take an ATi.

I suggest Radeon HD 38xx (3870 is the latest)

ATi cards roxx way more than nVIDIA ones for high graphics games. It's was shown in some random mag's.

Yeah, it is not as performant as an ultra, but it's still one of the best gfx atm, and it's really cheap compared to the ultra.

Hehe. If you want a cheap graphic card, that is not so sucky and that is 100% compatible with dx10, take HD 2600 XT.

Otherwise take a HD 3870x2 or 8800GT.

3870 is also very loud and there are a few bugs due to internal CrossFire which affect the performance
