need you !

Hello everybody, a friend of mine has a problem with his ET and that is since he got Vista.

When he starts up ET it does 2 things:

- He can connect to a serv play 10 sec and then the game crashes
- He just start ET and it instantly crashes

*He gets some windows error...

He tried already stuff like being moderater to run the program or change the program to Windows XP launching setting but they both didnt work.

Anybody got some nice links? Ideas how he could fix it?

Think we didn't try that? We searched all kind of posts on xfire and other sites but they didnt work ...

Vista aint the problem.. the problem is it aint working ...

Happend a friend of me2 and he got horrible fps in Vista. He just switched back 2 Windows XP.

go to the tutorials section of crossfire and go to the ET with vista , u cant miss it. will solve ur prob , hf , but i did it and my old PC runs et faster and smoother than a fucking faster machine with vista :P
