Limit SMG's?

Over the weekend, some of CoD's top teams battled it out at i33. The tournament featured a restriction on the amount of SMG's teams are able to use.

Did the players prefer it?
Did the spectators prefer it?
Did YOU prefer it?

i was like this close to say fuck cod until i noticed you're administrator so i'll skip the crap and just say im happy with this situation. enjoyed the games alot.

It made it interesting as it cut down on the SMG Muppet Rushing, made the games a lot more interesting to watch.

The games were great, but then they were also great at CDC4 which had (I believe) 3 SMGs. I'm not really in a position to say which is better - I don't know CoD4 well enough.
