I have bit different specs but im having the same problem, because all the comments are gone, I had to create a new one for this.
I got AMD 4200+ dualcore, 2x 7800gt @ SLi, 2gigs of kingston RAM, A8N32-SLI motherboard.
I tried setting ET to run with just single processor (changing from taskmgr->affinity) but it didnt seem to help and when I changed it back, it now randomly changes it to 1 processor only. worst fps drops are on sw_gr bridge when the tank breaks the bank, my fps is around 30-40, normally on courtyard when there is hot 6on6 action going on, fps might be from 40-80 - which, I think, is very unusual for a computer like this.
and yes, all my settings are minimal (AA, AF, etc)
and no, changing game to 5on5 wont help my fps troubles.
and yes, I already tried formating :p
