So... lately my ping is shit... actually its always been shit, but just now i figured out that et uses just like less than half of my whole connection bandwidth. So here i am asking u Luvly guys if u know anything about this.

Any kind of suggestions would help (except for getting a new isp since i have the best 1 ^^)

WHat I really mean is ... when et is open and i m on a server... it uses 256k for et... and the rest(the other 256k) is idle... so if et could use them all my ping should be about half... so if u know pls really help ,.. :|

Shut down any other programs that could eat bandwidth

Btw ET uses like 25kb/sec bandwidth (rate 25000) I think

Try scanning for viruses as they may cause this

Also defrag harddisk (yes it seems odd that this highers ping , but I've had it)

download connection manager program (lots of them in internet) and work it out with it.

bandwidth and ping has nothing in common until you get above 80-85% usage of the connection
