mic acting wierd...

so here's the deal, my microphone is completely new (siberia icemat) and it works very good except when i start and play et. It starts to make a strange noice everytime i hold in push to talk,but only on ventrilo, 2.1 is the worst and 3.0 is a bit better i think (dno why..but) and TS works absolutely correct^^. and ofc its annoying to my mates. So anyone got any thoughts of what could be wrong?

Does it make an ehco when you talk?Kinda sounds like an alien?

Well,myself and my clan-mate had the same kinda problem.When we were finished talking a really crazy echo would start and get louder.
It was some options in realtek which helped me fix it.Ill upload pics later.
You have realtek as your sound driver thing?
