that is not even close to a proper movie quality :/

use Hannes' tutorial to set up your graphic card settings (or get RivaTuner) and get some decent r_ settings, use the Zaigon config as an example - hannes' page, last news item.

Hitsounds are out of sync, that's a minor glitch tho.

And fov seems to be strange, did you resize the vid?

Don't resize from 1280x1024 to 1280x720, it fucks up the ratio and everyone looks like a dwarf
Use antialiasing and better megui settings.

Also add more life to the video, tweak the curves, contrast, levels, color balance, whatever.

I'm guessing if you want 1280x720 instead of 1280x1024, you're far better off cutting 152 pixel strips from the top and bottom rather than resizing.

EDIT: Hmm, recording in 1280x720 would also work, I suppose. Same effect with different FOV (I'm assuming you'd want to have draw2D turned off, with all the 2D stuff added manually.

cropping doesn't look as nice as recording with 1280x720 + 106 fov and would just make extra work :>

just a quick question, do you approve recording with 1600x1200 and resizing to 1280x720?

if i am correct, 1600x1200 is 4:3 and 1280x720 is 16:9
so no, it will look fucked up. only resize from 16:9 to 16:9.

record 1600x900 (windowed mode) to get some extra quality :D

no, you need to record the movie at the start with 1280x720 (window mode)
get a proper movie config :)

you can do the record fullscreen np, it will just look vertically streched :s
