Widescreen Monitor #2

Im so fucking bored of always playing with this shitty widescreen resolution (1440*900) and the weird fov's u need to use there :SSS

Is there a way I can get my old 1024*768 resolution back without having it stretched? :<

-> If there's no solution: what fovs do i need for 90/112 toggle ? :<

If you expand it again your ET will look different again. Only way to get real r_mode 6 is like ratte said it.

to a bigger size?

Try r_mode -1

r_customheight "xxxx"
r_customwidth "xxxx"

xxx = whatever you want to.. try it out.

I have 22 " widescreen, and playing with r_mode 4...
seta r_customheight "1050"
seta r_customwidth "1680"
r_mode 4 is just working normal 4 meh

Im playing with 1680x1050 and absouletly love the "fucked up aspect ratio". The enemys are fatter!

If you have an ATi gfx card there is an option in the CCC to switch between scaled/centered timing (under digital panel properties). For me it makes no difference but it doesn't hurt to try.

You might want to adjust your cg_crosshairsize as well but this way you will get an unstretched ET to the maximum height of your TFT.
