Need a converter to convert dm_84 files to avi,mpg..etc

or

Just a demo recorder while playing ET, i tried FRAPS but weirdly ET gave error and it didn't open after it loaded.

Any suggestions?

/cl_avidemo gives me fps lag, tried it.

its normal that your et starts lagging if you record with cl_avidemo

read the hannes tutorial !

Ofcourse it lags. I captures 30 screenshots per second when doing cl_avidemo 30. And each screenshot is ca. 2,5mb. So try to imagine the work your HDD has to do. :--D

It would probably run smoothly on NASA's pc, not on any of ours.

There are a lot of tutorials here in crossfire. Read them and then ask if you didn't get something :-)

It won't give you FPS lag once you use virtual dub and make it .avi

It will appear smooth.

megui is not needed, wmv is quite good tbh (if you don't want to make a super quality fm ofc)

with megui you get the best file size and best quality but it needs very long to encode the movie ;(

i know lol, for code a small video about a player which shot 20 on 30 bullets on walls it needed 30min lol :P

ya mabye with the standard settings :P

If I remember right with "my" settings you need for a little movie with 1 min about 2-3 hours ;XD
