old or refresh mx518?
Hi,
since my G5 sucks i gna get my former mouse mx 518 back ^^ there are 2 versions, the old and the "refresh" one (only difference i noticed was 200 more dpi on refresh).
the dpi are not interesting, i use to play on 400 dpi
someone with an idea whats different / better?
cheers

what does that mean?
G5 sux x)
Currently using a G5, its skipping as hell.
had a mx518 before and loved it (only it breaks alot, thats why i changed in the first place)
Absolutely nothing to complain..
(now i just haveto learn to aim...)
ps: if you cant find old diamondback anymore, just look for razer pro click 1.6 mouse, its the same as diamondback and their latest drivers even support 400dpi, in contrast to latest db drivers which only allow for 1600dpi :D + its like 20 euros cheaper, only diff betwen pro click and db is the colour and the blue led got removed on pro click.
I've got a MX-518 since 2005 and it still works well, and I can assure you it felt a lot of time from my desk.
tbh, if I have to buy a new mouse, i'll buy another MX-518 :>
refresh has only 200 dpi more.
and i get only 1800 dpi in setpoint with the refresh version (didn't heard before of that bug with 2000 dpi).
using setpoint 4.00.
so it's your choice!
