recruiting webdesigner

Netherlands me and Germany urtier have started a gaming website project (don't be afraid for competition crossfire, because the goals differ). I don't really want to go into further details about the idea, but if you think you are good in webdesigning feel free to pm abort{ or SL|urtier @ quakenet or at crossfire.

Expected from you:

- Few examples of your work
- Patience
- Basic knowledge of XHTML/CSS
- Some knowledge of PHP/MySQL would be nice but is not really a requirement

What do we offer:

- Admin on the website
- Choises are deliberated
- Some advertisement spot (for a banner) on the website (in case you want to)

It's more like sharing an interest than actually needing someone to do some work for us. We want to set something up together with this webdesigner.

"new" designers/aspiring designers can't just get paid jobs straight away, have to build a portfolio up somewhere

working on something like this adds something to that portfolio more meaningful than just a screenshot of something you made in photoshop, it will be a live site

That's slavery if you ask me, after all you do, then you are still left to adming the site :) Doesn't sound much of a pay for me.

I doubt there are many that will do such extensive work for free, I wouldn't. Since if you expect quality, you should be willing to pay something for it. That, or have a guy that have similar interest to begin with.
