RTCW problem

I bought rtcw and i tried to play it and it worked nicely ^^
Next day when i tried to connect to some public it whined something about punkbuster not working.
Then i saw in rtcw menu that punkbuster was turned off.
Then i ofc tried to put it back on but it didn't go back on.. I clicked it several times and always it said "punkbuster: off"
What should i do to make it work? :<

And i'm also searching for rtcw team if there is any of them left? :p
